Salad:
1/2 C. cinnamon candies (aka Cinnamon Imperials or Red Hots)
1 C. boiling water
3 oz. pkg. cherry jello
1 C. applesauce, heated until hot

Dressing (Optional):
3 oz. cream cheese, softened
3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 C. whipped cream

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve Cinnamon candies in boiling water.
Stir in cherry jello and hot applesauce until the jello has dissolved.
Pour into a bowl or in a jello mold, if desired. Chill in refrigerator until firm.

Dressing (if desired): Combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice and whipped cream until blended. Spread on top of salad just before serving.
