1 8 oz. cream cheese
cup sugar
1 beaten egg
(Combine and beat until smooth, set aside)


1 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cups sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/3 cup water
teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup canned pumpkin
cup softened butter or margarine
1 beaten egg

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine pumpkin, butter, egg and water. Mix until smooth. Add dry ingredients. Mix all until smooth.

Pour a small amount of batter into a greased and floured 9 x 5 loaf pan, enough to cover the bottom of the pan. Pour cream cheese mixture over pumpkin batter. Top with remaining batter. Cut through with a knife several times to swirl.

Bake 1 hour and 10-15 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Insert a toothpick in the center to test doneness. Let cool 5 minutes before removing from pan or serving.
