1 whole salmon
1 cube butter
1 C. brown sugar
1/2 C. lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Remove head, tail, fins and rise and wash inside thoroughly with cold running water.
Melt the butter and add the brown sugar and lemon juice.
Wrap in aluminum foil leaving access to baste inside with avbove mixture.
Put on grill for about 30-40 minutes until skin comes off easy.
Continue to baste several times while grilling.
Pour a lot of the mixturte on the salmon so it is kinda simmering in it as well as basting it on the inside.

Carolyn fixed this once for Ruth and Bill Hubbard when they came to Seattle in 1963. It was so good that they never forgot. And all this was done by Carolyn, who doesn't really like salmon!
