Salt & Pepper or seasoning of your choice
4 Tblsp. olive oil
2 pkgs. Lipton onion soup mix

Directions:
Season pot roast on all sides with salt and pepper or seasoning of your choice (I use Tex-Joy steak seasoning). Heat olive oil in skillet. Add pot roast and sear on all sides to seal in juices.

After browned, cover with water and bring to a boil. Add Lipton onion soup mix (I use 1 pkg. Beefy Onion and 1 pkg. Beefy Mushroom). Stir well.

Cover and let simmer on top of stove for about 4-5 hours.

Can also be prepared as above and cooked in a crock pot overnight!
