2 pkg- dry yeast
1/2 c. Crisco Butter Shortening
2 T. salt
6 c sifted flour
1/2 c sugar
1 c boiling water
1 c cold water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix yeast with a 1/2 c of warm water-set off to side
Bring 1 c of water to rolling boil
In large mixing bowl add salt, sugar, 1/2 shortening and boiling water. After shortening melts, add 1 c of cold water, then add in yeast mixture. Slowly add flour, continue cutting dough with a butter knife. After all the flour is added, pour 1/4 c of melted shortening on dough. Work in until dough is
in a ball shape and smooth. Cover with a clean dry hand towel. Place bowl on heating pad on low for it to rise quicker..
After it raises to the top of the bowl, grease hands and work the dough down. Make out into rolls the size of a fist, let rise..Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes, or until golden brown...
