2 fryers cut into serving pieces;1 18-ounce jar apricot preserves; 1/4 c water; 1 envelope dry onion soup mix; 1 -8 ounce bottle Russian or creamy French salad dressing;

salt & pepper

Directions:
Warm preserves.Coat each piece of chicken with preserves. Place in a 2-qt casserole. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over chicken. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Baste often.
