"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Ingredients:
1 pkg. Nabisco chocolate wafer
1/2 c. unsalted butter, melted
36 oz. of cream cheese, room temp.
1 c. of sugar
6 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
12 oz. white chocolate, melt and cool.

1/2 c. sugar
1 c. shaved chocolate curls
1 10" springform cake pan

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare crust: add chocolate wafers to blender and crush to fine crumbs. Place in a bowl and add melted butter, mix well. Place crumbs into a 10" springform pan, with fingers press crumbs to sides and bottom of pan. Place in the refrigerator. In a large mixer bowl, place cream cheese and 1 cup of sugar. Beat for 8 minutes. On low speed, add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add 2 tsp. of vanilla. Remove bowl from mixer , add a little cooled melted chocolate to egg mixture and blend the chocolate by folding it into the egg mixture. Fold the remaining chocolate into egg mixture carefully. Add to cake pan on top of the crust. Bake in a preheated oven of 325 for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Remove from oven when the outside edges are firm but center 2" shake when the pan is moved. Remove from the oven and cool for 10 minutes. Mix the sour cream and sugar together and spread on top of cake. Place it back in the oven and cook for 10 more minutes. Remove from the oven and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or over night. Cover with chocolate curls and sifted powdered sugar, before serving.
