1-1/4 c. boiling water
1 c. Nabisco 100% Bran
1/2 c. margarine
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
1-1/4 c. flour
1 t. cinnamon
1 t. soda
1/4 t. salt

3 T. melted butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. Bran

Pour boiling water over Bran. Let stand 2-3 minutes. In large bowl, beat other ingredients at medium speed. Add Bran. Put in 9x9 pan and bake 350.

When done, spread topping over hot cake and broil 2-3 minutes until bubbly. Make sure you watch CAREFULLY!! It doesn't take too long to bubble. DON'T BURN!!
