6 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. margarine
1 c. flour
pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine and cream cheese. Add flour and salt, blending well. Form into balls on a lightly floured board. Divide into 24 pieces. Press each piece onto the bottom and sides of miniature size muffin tins.

Filling:
3/4 c. almond paste
1/2 c. plus 1 T. sugar
2 medium eggs
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Combine all ingredients until well blended. Spoon into pastry lined muffin cups. Bake 350 20-25 minutes. Remove from tins and place on rack to cool. When cool, top with a dab of confectioner's sugar icing and 1/4 of a maraschino cherry.
