1/2 bushel tomatoes 6 onions 8 green peppers 3/4 c. brown sugar 4 c. vinegar 4 (6oz.) cans tomato paste 8 T. canning salt garlic to taste 1 bunch of cilantro canned black beans* canned corn* *use as much or as little as you like
Blanch tomatoes and set aside to cool. Crush with your hands when cool. Combine all ingredients except cilantro, corn and beans and cook till slightly thickened - approximately 1 1/2 -2 hours. Then add 1 bunch of cilantro (chopped), black beans (rinsed and drained), and corn (drained). Fill jars and process 20 minutes.
