2 c. boiling water
2 c. All Bran
4 c. Bran Buds
5 tsp. soda
1 qt. buttermilk
3 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
5 c. flour
3 tsp. salt
4 eggs

Pour boiling water over All Bran and Bran Buds and Crisco. let cool. Dissolve soda in buttermilk, stir and set aside. Cream sugar and eggs. Add flour, salt and buttermilk. Add Bran mixture.

Bake 375-400 about 15 minutes. Dough may be refrigerated 6-8 weeks.
