1/4 stick butter for lining baking sheet plus 1 pound butter, softened
3 c shredded Cheddar Cheese
4 c all-purpose flour, plus some for kneading
1 T garlic salt
1/4 tsp cayenne

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375
Line a metal sheet pan 12x17 inches with parchment paper and butter. In large bowl, mix butter, cheese, flour, garlic salt and cayenne. Turn out onto floured surface; knead lightly to blend well. Spread evenly in prepared pan. Score with a paring knife into small squares. Prick each with a fork twice to make a cross shape. Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown. Serve hot or cold.
