1 T. butter, softened
2 cups heavy or whipping cream
4 eggs
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 lb. Swiss or Gruyere shredded cheese ( 1 cup)
1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms
2-4 T. chopped onions
Betty Crocker Pie crust or Tillies Home made Crust

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425. Prepare Betty Crocker crust as label directs; use to line a 9" pie plate. Spread crust with 1 T. softened butter .
In medium bowl with wire whisk or fork, mix cream, eggs and salt until well blended. Stir in cheese. Saute mushrooms and onions in butter until tender. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add to the cream mixture as well. Pour cream mixture into piecrust. Bake 15 minutes; turn oven down to 325 and bake 35 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
