1 4 to 5 lb. Roast
2 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Pepper
3 Tbsp. Flour
3 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
1 Bouillon Cube
1/2 cup Water
2 Bay Leaves
1 Garlic Clove
1/2 tsp. Marjoram
1/2 tsp. Basil
1 small Onion

Directions:
Directions:
Rinse roast and pat dry. Season roast with salt and pepper. Pat with flour. Put vegetable oil in skillet on medium and brown roast. Mix bouillon cube, water, bay leaves, pressed garlic, marjoram and basil. Put roast in roasting pan and pour the liquid over the roast. Cut up a small onion. Cover and bake on 300 for 3 and a half hours or till it is done in the center. You can add carrots and potatoes during the last hour of cooking.
