1/2 cup Land O Lakes Margarine
1 1/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 (6-ounce) pkg (1 cup) Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
1 cup chopped salted peanuts

Directions:

Heat oven to 350. Melt margarine in 3 quart saucepan over medium heat (3 to 5 minutes). Remove from heat. Stir in brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Add flour, baking powder and salt; mix well. Stir in morsels and peanuts.
Spread mixture into ungreased 13x9 inch baking pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until center is firm to the touch. DO NOT OVER BAKE. Cool completely. Cut into bars. Makes 36 bars.
