1 tablespoon butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 can crescent rolls
1 egg
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 can (6 oz) crabmeat, drained
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
3 tablespoons finely chopped green onions
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

Directions:

Heat oven to 375.

In bowl, mix butter and garlic powder; set aside.

On floured surface, unroll dough; firmly press perforations to seal. Press into 12 x 9 rectangle. Cut into 2 inch squares; place on ungreased cookie sheet. Brush with butter mixture. Bake 4-6 minutes, until puffed.

Meanwhile, in bowl, mix egg and mayonaise; stir in crabmeat, cheese onions, and hot pepper sauce.

Remove baked squares from oven. Spoon generous tablespoon crab mixture on each square; return to oven; bake 10-12 minutes longer.

Serve warm.
