7 or 8 large apples
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup flour
1 cup Quaker Oats dry oatmeal
1 stick butter
1 tsp cinn
1/2 tsp nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Put peeled and sliced apples in a greased baking dish, 8x8.
Sprinkle with sugar and set aside.
In a saucepan, melt butter; add flour, brown sugar, oatmeal and spices.
Stir to form a crumbly mixture.
Sprinkle over apples.

Bake at 350 for 1/2 hour.

Serve with nice vanilla ice cream.

There is nothing like warm apple crisp on a cool fall night. Not only does it taste delicious, but the smell in the house is outstanding.
