2 c. plums (italian prunes)
4 egg yolks (or 2 eggs)
3/4 c. sugar
1 T. grated orange peel
3 c. flour
4 t. baking powder
1/4 t. salt
1/2 t. nutmeg
1/2 t. cinnamon
1 c.milk
oil for deep fat frying

Directions:
Directions:
Add sugar to beaten egg yolks and orange peel.
Add milk, then add dry ingredients. Fold in plums. Drop by teaspoon or very small ice cream scoop into hot oil. (375) and fry until brown on both sides. Drain on paper towels, then roll in a mixture of 1/2 c. sugar and 1 t. cinnamon.
