1/2 stick of butter
2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup sifted flour
2 cups light corn syrup
2 (15oz) cans sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In large heavy saucepan, melt butter, add syrup and sugar. Boil 5 min. over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Add 1 1/2 cans condensed milk, mix other 1/2 can milk with the flour mixing thoroughly, then add the syrup mixture.
Boil, stirring constantly, until mixture begins to darken and forms a medium ball (when dropped in cold water) or to 240 on candy thermometer. Add vanilla.
Pour onto buttered 9x13 pan. Allow to cool.
Cut into 1" pieces with sharp buttered knife.
Wrap each piece in a small square of waxed paper.
