2 c. canned chickpeas, drained (reserve liquid) 1 1/2 t. kosher salt 4 garlic cloves, minced 1/3 c. tahini (sesame paste) 6 T. fresh lemon juice (2 lemons) 2 T. water or liquid from chickpeas 8 dashes tabasco sauce
Place all ingredients in food processor and process until mixture is coarsely pureed. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
