1 c. shortening (part butter) or all butter
1-1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2-3/4 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix thoroughly shortening, sugar and eggs. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Combine both mixtures.

Roll into small balls then roll balls in a mixture of cinnamon and sugar.

Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 400 until lightly brown.
