2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. slightly soft bread crumbs
2 tbsp. grated onion
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. milk
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. sage

Combine eggs, milk, and crumbs. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pat mixture into 9 x 5 in. loaf pan. Pour savory sauce over top and bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hours.
Savory Sauce:
1/3 c. ketchup
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. dry mustard
Combine all ingredients and pour over meatloaf before placing in oven.
