1/4 c. butter
1/2 lb. fresh asparagus (cut into 1 in. pieces)
1 medium red or green pepper, chopped
8 c. bread cubes
2 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
1 c. cubed ham
8 eggs
2 1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. marjoram
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter. Cook vegetables until crisp-tender. Combine bread, cheese, ham and vegetables. Mix. Spoon onto 9 x 13 in. pan. Combine eggs, milk and seasonings. Pour over bread mixture. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours. Bake at 350 uncovered 45-60 min. Sprinkle 1 c. cheese on top and let melt.
