4-6 lg. Golden Delicious Apples 1/2 C. flour 1/2 C. oats 1/2 C. coconut 1/4 C. nuts 1/4 C. brown sugar 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/8 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 C. butter or margarine (I usually cut this to 5 Tb.)
Thinly slice apples to make 6 cups. Place in ungreased 8 inch square baking pan. Combine all the dry ingredients and cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle mixture evenly over apples. Bake at 375º for 450 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream or whipping topping. Can be doubled for 9x13 pan.
