1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix

Frosting:
3/4 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. packed dark brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 t. vanilla
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 1/3 c. coconut
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Bake cake according to package directions, and distribute batter in 2 or 3 round cake pans, or a 9x13 pan (depending if you want layers or not).
Combine milk, sugars, butter and vanilla. Bring to a full boil stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Quickly stir small amount of hot mixture into egg yolks. Then stir into remaining mixture. Return to a boil and stir constantly. Remove from heat. Add coconut and nuts. Cool completely before frosting cake.
