2 3/4 cups sifted enriched flour
2 tsp cream of tarter
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups of sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp sugar
2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, cream of tarter, baking soda and salt. Cream shortening; gradually beat in sugar and eggs; stir into dry ingredients. Chill dough. Form into balls the size of small walnuts. Roll in mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 400 until lightly brown but still soft, about 8 to 10 minutes.
