5 C. ground pickles 3 C. celery cut fine 2 sweet peppers - gound 3/4 C. salt 3 C. onions - ground 1 1/2 quart water Add: 1 quart vinegar 3 C. sugar 2 T. celery seed 2 T. mustard seed
Mix first 6 ingredients leave stand for a couple of hours, drain off water and rinse. Boil: vinegar, sugar, celery seed & mustard seed. Mix both together & bring to a boil and fill hot jars and seal. You grind everything except celery. It should be very hot when you fill jars so that they seal.
