4 cups sliced fresh peaches (peeled)
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup water
2 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
few drops yellow food coloring (optional)
1 cup mashed peaches (peeled)
1/2 pint heavy cream
2 tablespoons confectioner sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine mashed peaches, water, sugar and cornstarch in saucepan. Boil 2 minutes or until clear. Add butter & food coloring - enough to give attractive color.
Place 4 cups peaches (sliced) in large baked pie crust and pour glaze over. Cool.
Whip heavy cream until holds peak. Add confectioner sugar and vanilla. Sitr gently until all mixed.
Spread over peaches & glaze.
Refrigerate till ready to use. (Should be served same day made.) Cannot freeze
