1 C. boiling water 1 C. 100 % bran cereal 1/2 C. butter 1 1/2 C. white sugar 2 C. Bran Buds cereal 2 beaten eggs 2 C. buttermilk 2 1/2 C. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 2 1/2 tsp. soda
Pour water over 100% bran & cool. Cream butter & sugar. Add eggs, moistened bran & buttermilk. Add flour, salt and soda. Fold in bran buds. Bake about 20 minutes for 375º. Batter will keep for cereal weeks in tightly covered containers.
