Apple pie Recipe

1 9 in double crust pie
1/2 c. unsalted butter
3 T. flour
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
8 granny smith apple peeled, cored and sliced.

Preheat oven 425, melt butter in a saucepan stir
in flour to form a paste. Add water, white sugar and brown sugar and bring to a boil.
Reduce temperature and let simmer.

Place the bottom crust in your pan and fill with apples, mounded slightly. Cover with a lattice work of crust. Gently pour the sugar and butter liquid over the crust.

Bake 15 min. at 425 then reduce temp to 350
continue baking for 35-45 min. until apples are soft.
