1 3/4 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
2 cups chopped apples

1/2 cup brown sugar (packed tightly)
1/2 cup chopped nuts
2 tablespoons margarine (softened)
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Mix well.

Mix dry ingredients together, combine with liquid ingredients and apples, beat well. Pour into 9-inch greased and floured square pan. Sprinkle on topping. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes or till done. Can also use small bundt pan, greased.
