2 heads of Romaine Lettuce
1 garlic clove
1 can anchovies, drained
1/2 cup Wesson Oil
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
2 tsp Dijon mustard
2 drops tabasco sauce
few shakes of Worchestshire sauce
1 egg yolk

Directions:
Directions:
Mash the garlic clove into the inside of a salad bowl, wooden bowl is best.
Mash the anchovies in the same salad bowl.
Add the oil, vinegar, mustard tabasco and worchestshire.
Add i egg yolk.
Mix all these together in the bowl.
Add cut up lettuce.
On the top of this mixture, sprinkle fresh, grated Parmesan cheese and add croutons.

This is an exceptional salad dressing. I got this recipe many years ago and have not found one that compares to it.
It is very important that you use the anchovies, don't skip them. It makes all the difference in the world. Enjoy!
