1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. candied cherries, cut into quarters
1/2 c. pecans, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar; mix in the vanilla and milk. Add the flour and mix into dough. Add in the pecans and candied cherries and mix in lightly (too much causes the color to stain the dough). Form in 2 rolls 2" x 8"
Roll into flaked coconut, wrap and chill overnight.

Slice 1/4" thick and place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 F for 12 minutes or until edges turn brown.
