2 packages Ramen Noodles (Nana likes chicken, David likes Oriental)
1 small onion, chopped
1 package cabbage slaw
4 ounces sunflower seeds, lightly toasted if desired
4 ounces slivered almonds, lightly toasted if desired
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup vinegar
1/2 cup oil
Broccoli florets optional

Open Ramen Noodles and set seasoning packets aside. Crush noodles and toss with onion, slaw, sunflower seeds, and almonds. Add broccoli if desired.

In a separate bowl, whisk sugar, vinegar, oil, and both seasoning packets. Pour over slaw mixture and stir to coat. Refrigerate at least 4-6 hours before serving.

This is a great recipe to double for big parties.
