Greens of your choice: spinach, red or green leaf lettuce, etc
1/2 C salted almonds, sliced or chopped
1/2 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled

Dressing:
1/2 C sugar
1/2 C red wine vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
2 T bacon drippings

Directions:
Directions:
Bring dressing ingredients to a boil -- remove from heat. Beat one egg; wisk together with small amount of hot dressing, the add rest of egg, return to very low heat and cook till thick, about 1-2 min. Cool. (Add the egg at your own risk)!
