Buttermilk Brownies
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 c. cold water
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. oil
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda

Frosting
1/2 c. butter (melted)
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/3 c buttermilk
1 lb. powdered sugar

Directions:

Mix flour, sugar, and cocoa in mixing bowl, set aside.

Mix water, butter, and oil in small saucepan; bring to a boil. Stir into dry ingredients. Add eggs, baking soda and buttermilk; mix. Pour into half-sheet bun pan (12"x17"x1"). Bake 18 minutes at 400 F.

While brownies are baking, whisk together frosting ingredients. Put frosting on brownies immediately after taking from oven. Slowly spread around. Heat from brownies will melt frosting and make it easier to spread.
