2 1/2 to 3 lbs. cooked chicken, boned and chopped
1 1/2 medium onion, chopped
4 T. cooking oil
2 cans cream of chicken soup (10 3/4 oz.)
1 1/2 c. chicken broth
2 cans chopped green chilies ( 4 oz.)
1 1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese
1 doz. corn tortillas, cut into fourths

Directions:
Directions:
Cook chicken, remove bones and skin, chop and set aside. Saute onion in hot oil until translucent; drain. Add soup, chicken broth, green chilies, reserved chicken and 1 1/2 c. of the cheese. cook over medium heat until bubbly. In a large casserole dish or 9 x 13 inch baking pan layer tortillas and chicken sauce, beginning with tortillas and ending with tortillas. Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup grated cheese on the top. Cover with foil and bake at 325 fro 30 min. or until cheese has melted and the mixture is bubbly.
