2 1/4 C Flour, packed well
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
1 C Margarine, chilled
3/4 C Sugar
3/4 C Brown Sugar, packed well
1 tsp Vanilla
2 med Eggs
2 C Chocolate Chips
1 C Nuts, chopped, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. Combine flour, soda, and salt in a bowl. Cut together butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in a different bowl. Beat by hand sugar mixture until creamy. Add eggs one at a time and beat by hand. Gradually beat in by hand the flour mixture. Stir in chips and nuts. Roll dough into a log. Pinch off dough, place on cookie sheet and press a little flat. Bake for 12 minutes.
