Directions:
Thoroughly cream shortening, sugar and vanilla. In a small bowl, blend yolk and 1 Tbs milk. Sift dry ingredients together. Slowly stir into creamed mixture. Divide dough in half. Take one part and add melted chocolate with 1 Tbs milk. Form into big ball. Wrap chocolate dough and vanilla dough in separate saran wrap. Refrigerate for 1 hours.
Roll half of chocolate dough into 10x12 rectangle. Brush the top with hot milk. Roll half of vanilla dough to same size and layer on top of chocolate dough. Roll up dough like a cinnamon roll. Place roll in wax paper and freeze. When frozen, pull dough out of freezer and slice inch thick cookies. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Cool on rack.
