Ingredients:
Boiled Frosting (Aunt Betty)

2 C sugar
¼ C light Karo syrup
6 Tbs water
2 egg whites
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Boil sugar, syrup and water together until mixture forms ball in water—usually about five minutes. (dribble a tsp of mixture in cold water. If it forms a soft ball it is ready.) Cool slightly.
Beat egg whites in glass or metal bowl with beater until stiff peaks form. SLOWLY fold syrup mixture into egg whites. Use spoon to fold together. Remember slowly drizzle syrup mixture so that you don’t cook egg whites. Lastly, stir in vanilla.
