1 1/2 lbs. fresh asparagus spears
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 T. cooking oil
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 t. lemon juice
1/2 t. curry powder
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Place asparagus in a greased 9 inch square baking dish. Season chicken with salt and pepper. In a skillet over medium heat, brown chicken in oil on both sides. Arrange chicken over asparagus. In a bowl, mix soup, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and curry powder; pour over chicken. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes or until chicken is done. Sprinkle with cheese. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
