2 lbs. ground beef 1 c. chopped onion 1 c. chopped green pepper 1 c. sliced celery
2 cloves garlic minced 2 T. chili powder 2 t. salt 2 T. brown sugar
2 15 oz cans kidney beans (use liquid) 2 16 oz cans tomatoes cut up
Brown first 4 ingredients in a dutch oven. Drain of any grease. Add the next 4 ingredients and combine well. Now add the remaining items and simmer on the stove top for about an hour. Top with cheese and onions as desired.
