1 cup sugar
1/4 teasp. salt
1/4 cup flour
3 T cornstarch
2 cups water
3 egg yolks
1 T butter
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 teasp. graded lemon rind
Meringue
3 egg white
4 T sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Blend together sugar, salt, flour, and cornstarch. Stir in 1/2 cup cold water mixture over hot water or low heat until thickened and clear. add beaten egg yolks and cool on minute longer. Stir in baked pie shell. Joy with meringue and bake in slow over (325 degrees) until meringue is browned. (makes 1 9" pie)
