1 can evaporated milk chilled,
1 pkg lemon jello,
3 c. sugar,
1 c. hot water,
3 Tbs. lemon juice,
grated rind of one lemon,
2 1/2 c vanilla wafers, crushed

Directions:
Directions:
Add to jello: sugar, hot water, lemon juice and rind. Let jello set and then whip milk and pour into jello. Line a buttered pan with crushed vanilla wafers. Pour in jello/milk mixture. Sprinkle top with remaining wafer crumbs. Keep in refrigerator until ready to serve. If desired top with:
Grate 1 or 2 apples, mix with 1 c. sugar, white of one egg. Whip all until thick, flavor with vanilla and on top of final wafer layer.
