1 Cup Crisco
1 1/2 Cups Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
1/2 Cup Buttermilk

1 3/4 Cups Sifted Flour
1 Tsp Baking soda
1 Tsp Baking Powder
1 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Cinnamon
1 Tsp Nutmeg

3 Cups Quick Cooking Oats
1 Cup Chopped Nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream crisco, sugar and eggs together until light and fluffy. Stir in buttermilk. Sift dry ingredients; stir into cream mixture. Stir in oats and nuts.
Chill Dough. Drop from spoon on cookie sheet and bake at 400 for about 8 minutes.
