1-2 cups sugar
2 cups water
1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 cup butter
2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3/4 cup shortening
1/2 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Syrup: 1-2 cups sugar
2 cups water
1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 butter
Heat until butter melts.

Mix flour, salt and baking powder. Cut in shortening like pastry. Stir in milk. Roll out like cinnamon rolls. Cover with 6 grated apples. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Roll up and slice. Arrange in dripper pan and cover with syrup. Bake 375 degrees for 35 minutes. Top with whipped cream.
