1 c. sliced green onions
1/4 c. chopped onion
2 T. butter, melted
2 T. all-purpose flour
1 (14-1/2-oz.) can ready-to-serve chicken broth
1 (14 oz.) can artichoke hearts, undrained and chopped
1/4 tsp. white pepper
2 T. minced fresh parsley

Directions:
Directions:
1. Saute onions in butter in a large sauce pan until tender.
2. Add flour and cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
3. Gradually stir in chicken broth, and cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
4. Stir in artichoke hearts with liquid and white pepper.
5. Cook until thoroughly heated.
6. Spoon into serving bowls; sprinkle with fresh parsley.

Note: to make recipe ahead, prepare as directed. Cover and chill. Reheat to serve.
