1 C vegetable oil
1 C sugar
1 C white wine
1 &1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
5 C flour
1 tbsp anise seeds (use more for stronger flavor)
1/3 C sugar- for dipping

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350
Mix all ingredients well. With oiled hands, roll into small logs- about 1/2 inch in diameter and 6 inches long. Shape into circles (like little donuts). Dip in sugar. Bake 12-15 min, until lightly browned.
