Beat 2 eggs until lemon colored. Gradually add 1 c. sugar beating thoroughly. Add all at once; 1 c. flour, 3 tsp. baking powder, pinch of salt which has been sifted 3 times. Boil 1/2 c. milk and 3 Tb. butter. Mix all together to make a thin batter. Pour into a greased square pan and bake for 30 minutes at 350.

Frosting: 3 Tbs. butter, 5 Tbs Brown sugar, 2 Tbs cream, 1/2 c. coconut, 1/2 c. nuts. Boil all for 5 minutes, but watch carefully as it will burn. While cake is warm, spread frosting on top.
