5 oz crushed gram crackers (about 9 whole crackers) 1 cup peanut butter 1 pound powdered sugar 1 stick butter to 11/2 sticks 1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix ingredients together roll into small balls. Insert toothpick into each ball. Chill for 1 hour or till firm. Melt 1 1/2 bags (12 ounces) dark chocolate chips with 2 tablespoons shortening on low heat. Dip each ball in chocolate, put on wax paper and chill in fridge for 1 hour.
